Konnect Net Ltd was established in 2008 to focus on business process improvement opportunities in the insurance and health sectors.

The business has grown quickly since set-up, building a strong position in New Zealand and a growing presence in Australia in the insurance and health sectors. In 2011 Konnect was ranked New Zealand’s fastest growing technology company by the TIN 100, and won the NZ Hi-Tech Services Award.

Konnects SureMed service is used by most major insurers in New Zealand, and all GP practices (6,700 doctors), plus specialists and paramedical providers. SureMed technology and processes has been deployed into Australia responding to strong demand from insurers, many of whom are Konnect clients in NZ.

SureApp is our new insurance front-end service, tailored for the Adviser channel, that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the insurance sales process. It has already generated strong support in the market on the back of the first stage of deployment. A full solution will be available across the market in 2012.

The Team

Our founding directors have many years experience working in business process management, with extensive knowledge of the health information environment. Around this core we have built a strong team consisting of experts in the fields of process improvement, web application development, systems integration, marketing and service delivery.
