Our founding directors have a vision. To revolutionise the exchange of information across our Health and Insurance sectors – making the process faster, easier and more secure.

And that’s just what they’re doing. Here’s what the directors say about Konnect’s business focus, and about what drives them.

Says founder Peter Gardner: “Konnect is about finding business solutions. Ultimately we are a service oriented business helping source high quality medical information for the insurance sector. The people we have on board drive our success.”

Director Hamish McLachlan talks about collaboration as key to Konnect’s success: “I have worked in numerous new business ventures but with Konnect we spend a lot of time talking to stakeholders, to clearly establish the business need, and build products to meet and exceed demands. While Konnect will not solve all of the problems in this area from day one, we are committed to an ongoing process of change which will see Konnect working closely with the Health Sector to develop effective solutions.”

Which leaves the last word to co-founder, Murray Lilley ...... who produces a wry smile when he suggests Peter was the first person not to label him mad for floating the Konnect concept. “I had an idea and Peter showed me how we could do it. Konnect is about good people, commitment and believing everything is solvable. That’s an exciting prospect.”

Our founding directors have many years experience working in business process management, with extensive knowledge of the health information environment. Around this core we have built a strong team consisting of experts in the fields of process improvement, web application development, systems integration, marketing and service delivery.

Few other companies offer this breadth of expertise and practical business experience.
