Konnect Net Ltd has been engaged to manage all insurance medical information requests for participating insurers through SureMed.

Key Features

SureMed provides an efficient, standardised process, offered at no cost to doctors.

The service includes a fully electronic option that integrates with the GPs Practice Management System (PMS):

	Electronic information requests made by insurers are delivered direct to the GPs PMS inbox.
	When opened, the SureMed form is prepopulated with information from the PMS.
	GPs review and amend content as required, before sending the completed request electronically to the insurer.
	No printing or faxing is required.

‘Paper’ requests are also supported, where a practice is not set-up for electronic delivery, or a GP prefers to continue working with paper.

Konnect pays GPs for information requests completed.

Privacy protection of personal medical information meets industry and legal requirements.
